Description
Hotels Republique – Gare de l’Est - Gare du Nord (10th district, zip code 75010)
This neighbourhood is cut by the Boulevard Magenta whose main interest is to lead to two major railway stations : The Gare du Nord (Northern train station) enabling you to go to London in less than 2h40 thanks to the high speed train Eurostar (mandatory reservation, show up half an hour before the departure). From Gare du Nord you will be able to go to Northern Europe capitals as well such as Brussels and Amsterdam thanks to the Thalys (another high-speed train). Gare de l’Est (Eastern train station) is already served by the trains which go as its name indicates to the east of France: Reims, Metz, Nancy, Mulhouse and Stasbourg, served by a TGV which will make it in less than 4 hours.
In addition, the rue Lafayette which starts in front of the Galeries Lafayette and which ends on the place de la Bataille de Stalingrad, there is to admire the rotunda of Ledoux, and to walk along the quays Valmy or Jemmapes which lead to République (the Republic square).
